I am an artist, maker, and educator specializing in ceramics.
Having dabbled in numerous artistic mediums, I always find myself returning back to ceramics. I think this is because of many factors- it’s tactile nature, the process(es), the depth of knowledge, and the little bit of mystery and magic ceramics often holds on to.
I am a graduate of Cal State University Long Beach, with a BFA in Ceramics and a BA in Art Education. My day job is teaching high school ceramics and sculpture which is such a joy- I love how teaching requires one to constantly grow and learn in order to meet the interests and needs of students. I am continually learning more about artists, art making and everything in between!
